What is Swing Fore Hope?
For the past 20 years, we have hosted a golf tournament at different courses around the Metroplex. Current Journey supporters, their friends, family, and colleagues come together to enjoy a morning round of golf, a silent and live auction, and an awards luncheon.
Participants have the option to promote their business through our many sponsorship levels that range in cost from $400 – $10,000.
Sponsorships help offset the cost of the tournament so that we can help more children and families who are grieving. All of our sponsors receive recognition before, during, and after the tournament.
Our tournament is a Journey of Hope tradition to raise funds and awareness for childhood bereavement and to expand our programs.
Our 2024 tournament date is TBD. Please check back later or click the button below to be notified about all things golf related!
Our 2023 tournament was on April 10 at
Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch
20th Annual Swing Fore Hope
Emcee, Scott Murray, and 106 golfers gathered to have fun and support our mission to renew hope, foster healing, and develop resilience in the hearts of children and their families grieving the death of a loved one.
But there is more! Valerie Bonney won a brand-new Chevrolet Equinox after she made a hole-in-one!
"It was a beautiful day to play golf and support a great community cause—the hole-in-one was just an unexpected bonus—what a thrill!"
-Valerie Bonney, Hole in One Winner
First place winners Joe Gray, Matt Foster, Jon Law, and Denver Morris took home new Cleveland wedges that were donated by Steve Nichols of Cleveland Golf.
We are grateful to all our sponsors, auction item donors, participants, and volunteers, without whom this tournament would not be possible.
