About the Program
We developed a six-week grief-group curriculum, specifically tailored to theĀ school-setting. Our curriculum is filled with different activities, discussion questions, and handouts that you can use to help companion children and teens that are grieving!
We know that many families may have barriers that prevent them from accessing our groups in Plano and Frisco. By bringing grief groups to the schools, we can support students and their families in more areas in Texas and beyond.
Benefits of Partnership
- Comprehensive 6-week curriculum that includes several activities a school counselor can use to tailor the group to the attendees and their needs
- 1-2 hour training on grief in children and teens and how to use the curriculum
- Monthly consult sessions to process group dynamics and provide support
- Resources for parents/caregivers
- Training and resources for all school personnel to build a grief-informed campus
